Air Hockey – Remove The Immediate Success Friction
The original invention was an attempt to create a “smooth.” Games like football was immensely popular – but there was always a challenge to stop the ball, or a loss of momentum over time. Then a trio of engineers Brunswick began to try to formulate a way to remove friction from the equation altogether – with the hope that a game without friction would create an instant classic.
They have patented the idea, but even after years of struggle, he never gained momentum. Then, in 1972, the fourth person (Bob Lemieux) has taken the idea again. The engineers were the original basis for the concept, but had almost given up on it. But Bob was dedicated. He founded his own version of a hockey game, and initially had the disc and hammers – but got to work. The first air hockey table, which has air holes in the lower air flow, have removed most of the equation friction.

The History Of Air Hockey Games
The game of air hockey table, you know and love today was invented in 1969 by a group of engineers at Brunswick Billiards Brunswick. It was originally developed for commercial release, but put aside. Several years after the development of the original design engineers designed the first air hockey games, including hammers and discs.
The game was originally on the table with the flat and square mallets. The game now has a good advantage over the clubs. The table is intended for the table, which provides a smooth surface, which produces a zero friction. In general, a play area is filled with hundreds of small holes, through which is pumped a constant supply of fresh air. Wafers, then slips into a cushion of air above the table surface. Some surfaces are the only smooth surfaces without holes, and air generated a battery-powered air hockey puck game, which creates its own air cushion. It should be noted that this is not a regulation or approved for use in the United States Air Hockey Association approved events, games and tournaments.
