Air Hockey – Fact Or Fiction?

I’ve always been a fan of hockey tables air, and the game is played on them. As they have all the memory, been something I’ve seen almost everywhere – church basements, arcades, bowling alleys and college dorms – I always kind of take them for granted. But what is the truth behind them? Do I know the facts or fiction?

Air hockey tables have been around for God. It’s fiction. The game of air hockey with the table on which to play only about 30 years. Invented in 1972 by an engineer named Bob Lemieux Brunswick billiards, air hockey is relatively new in the world of table games.

Air Hockey is free to be played between two people. It is played on a smooth table, each coated with a player wielding a paddle special. The goal is to put out a small dish back and forth when trying to hit the opposing goal. The first player to score a particular purpose, or has the most points after a certain time is declared the winner. And, as the most popular games for its time, the story of Air Hockey Table is a unique and interesting.

Three employees Brunswick Billiards Corporation, a manufacturer based in Chicago, initiated a project that would eventually become an air hockey table at the end of 1969. The men were more interested in creating a game that was played entirely on top of a smooth surface. Although relatively little work has been done at the end of the demolition project and abandoned for many years. Then, in 1972, male employee named Bob Lemieux came and revived.
